BDR: Packing Instructions

This article provides instructions to pack up a BDR iPad, whether it's going out in an iPad case or stand.

What you need...

  • BOXES

    • Pizza box; or 

    • the box that the stand came in

  • Bubble wrap; 

  • iPad preinstalled in the case/stand;  

  • iPad charging cable and adapter (pre-wrapped in bubble wrap);  

  • Getting Started! Brochure (new venues only);

  • Return connotes/labels (if required);

  • Clear packing tape;

  • 'Fragile' tape;

  • Lithium battery sticker; and

  • Connote (outgoing)

       

 

PACKING the iPads – pizza box

  1. Mould the box into shape
  2. Place the case, with the iPad, face down in the designated area
  3. Place the following in the storage area on the right side of the box
    1. Charger + cable
    2. Brochure (new venues only)
    3. Return connote/label
  4. Close the box and tape it up.
  5. Ensure the box has the lithium battery sticker
  6. Affix the connote on the bottom, next to the sticker.
  7. Book a courier pick-up.

PACKING the iPads – stand box

  1. Ensure the stand is tilted all the way back so that it’s parallel to the base.
  2. Wipe the iPad screen clean with a micro fibre cloth.
  3. Wrap the stand, with the iPad, in the foam it came in or bubble wrap the outer edges of where the iPad sits.
  4. Carefully place the wrapped stand into the box.
  5. Pack the accessories:
    1. charger + cable (pre-wrapped in bubble wrap)
    2. Tethering cable
  6. Place the brochure (new venues only) and return connote/label on top of the stand.
  7. Add a layer of bubble wrap.
  8. Close the box and tape it up.
  9. Affix the labels to the box
    1. outgoing connote; and 
    2. lithium battery sticker
  10. Book a courier pick-up (if required).
  11. HubSpot: update ticket confirming the above has been completed
