BDR: Slow Internet connection

The Licensee is reporting a slow Wi-Fi connection.

NOTE

The iPad is designed to support cellular connectivity and offers superior network performance.


Wi-Fi connection can be affected by several factors, including the

  • distance between the router and the device,
  • number of devices connected on the Wi-Fi network,
  • materials such as walls or flooring that can interfere with the signal.

These can lead to slower speeds, higher latency.

To optimise Wi-Fi network performance, it's recommended to

  • minimise the distance from the router, and
  • reduce the number of connected devices.
Additionally, positioning the router in a central location and minimising physical obstructions can help maintain a stable and faster connection.

NOTE

The distance and stability of the network infrastructure in regional areas can also impact signal strength. This could also be affecting wired connections.
