BDR: How to setup UAT for LGIRS
When new functionality or configurations are requested, these must be approved by the Client via testing in the UAT environment.
How to Setup UAT for LGIRS
The process is the same as setting up iPads for Venues.
The Client already has an iPad (see HubSpot) so it's just a matter of ensuring the right account is linked to their iPad.

Questions
What is UAT?
User Acceptance Testing.
Who performs UAT?
UAT is performed by the Client before any changes are pushed to the Production environment. The UAT environment is (nearly) identical to the PROD environment but does not affect real Users ('Licensees').
As of March 2026, only BDR has a UAT environment.
When is UAT performed?
When the Client wants to add or remove functionality from the existing Product (BDR system), a formal change request form is initiated clearly outlining the change, and its requirements, and becomes a part of the Software (Product) Requirements Specifications (SRS/PSR).
How is UAT performed?
Scantek have a BDR-UAT installed on the Client's iPad and the Scantek QA iPads. The Client also has access to the BDR UAT Portal where they are able to view scans, bans and download reports, just like in PROD.
