BDR: Swapping between stand and case

Licensee wants to switch from a stand to a case or vice versa.

BDR iPad Stock - the BDR fleet consists of 229x iPads:

  • 9x spares stored at Scantek HQ.
  • 1x iPad is with LGIRS.

BDR Stands Stock - the BDR fleet consists of 200x stands.

  • Spares are kept in the storeroom.
  • 1x stand is with LGIRS.

IMPORTANT
The Licensee must request a swap-out to LGIRS if they want to switch from a case-to-stand OR stand-to-case. Refer to BDR: Escalation Process

Swap-out Process

  1. Allocate an iPad to the venue
  2. Configure the iPad (see BDR: Setting up the iPad)
  3. Install the iPad in the replacement hardware (stand or case)
  4. Create the courier labels: Outgoing (FPP); and Return (EXP)
  5. Despatch the replacement iPad in the new hardware (case or stand)
    1. Include a return label inside the box.
    2. Affix the Lithium Battery sticker to the box
  6. Upon delivery, arrange return of the older iPad.

    NOTICE

    The Licensees should not be removing or installing iPads into stands or the cases, unless absolutely necessary (e.g., broken iPad).
