I think my credit card details have been compromised.
It's unlikely as we use a third party platform called Stripe to handle all our payments, this brand is trusted by hundreds of companies world wide.
Please forward all correspondence claiming to be from Scantek to support@scantek.com.au - We will be able to find if there is anyone impersonating us.
If you could forward a credit card statement confirming times would be appreciated.
Context
What happened the first time was that they opened the link on a computer, the QR code popped up, the user used a dodgy Scanner app to Scan to code and in the app there were advertisements that he accidentally clicked on, or it sent him to instead of our webpage then it asked for payment details and he payed for a gaming website instead and got a bunch of dating apps trying to market to him. It would be good to know if this happened again in this situation/the browser URL in their history on the phone if they still have it of the webpage they paid money into. If we just ask for "any relevant data" they have no idea what that means so we need to be specific when we ask them for more info
