Customer Questions a Stripe Payment Receipt

For transactions through the Portal, where it is selected that the Subject will pay, they will have to pay through Stripe.

This will not take them away from the Scantek link, as the API is integrated into our system.

There is a snippet: #stripe receipt for when end users ask why it is from Stripe.

Scantek Solutions uses Stripe, a third-party platform, for payment processing, similar to how other businesses use PayPal or EFT machines."

If they want us to check if the receipt is authentic - they will need to let us know which company has asked for their identity to be verified.

The customer didn't proceed with the transaction but is querying the charge on their banking records.

When a customer chooses the subject pays option for the VOI process, the subject will need to enter their card details to begin the process.

The bank will place a hold on this money, known as pre-authorisation.

If the Subject does not complete the VOI, the bank will release the hold within a couple of business days.

There is a snippet: #bank hold fee for when end users asks about this.

The bank holds the fee at the beginning of the transaction. If the transaction is completed, the fee is processed to Scantek; if not, the Bank will release the hold on the money.

We usually find that the bank releases the hold within 2 to 3 business days, but it is not uncommon for some banks to hold the fee for up to 5 business days.
