Manually re run a DVS check
FOR FEWER THAN 5 RERUNS
Business development managers (BDM) may occasionally request a manual re-run of a DVS check.
If the request is not made by a BDM please check with the team lead or BDM before re-running a DVS check.
If the document is:
- Drivers licence
- Heavy drivers licence
- Learners Permit
- Probationary Drivers licence
- Restricted DL
- Defence card
- Firearms Licence /Extract
- ID card
- Proof of age card
- Residence permit
- Passport*

Option A
Login to the portal (Define which portal ? Where to find address) with a name+dvs account (if you do not have one see escalations team if you have never used it before you will need to "password recover")
At the bottom click "Manual Entry"
Select document type
International passports --> choose Visa
Enter the details.
Once complete return to the main page and click on the transaction.
Option B
All other documents you will have to work through the entire workflow.
Login to the portal with name+dvs (for conveyancing it would be name+dvsc@scantek.com.au) account. (if you do not have one see escalations team, if you have never used it before you will need to "password recover")
Send SMS to your phone.
Follow the normal process and work through all documents.
Use the original documents when capturing by having them open on the screen.
Use your own face :)
All should match except facial comparison.
Screenshot the Document checks box and use the canned response to send (or send to BDM if requested through them)
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE ANY PII IN THE SCREEN SHOT! MAKE SURE TO BLANK IT ALL OUT
FOR BULK RE- RUNS (More than 5)
Where there may be a DVS failure or similar, developers can bulk re-run the failed checks.
A CSV export will be provided of the checks to the Customer Service Team.
Clients affected will need to be emailed (via CS Team member) using snippet #BULK reruns ONLY - DVS outage Re run to inform them of the re-run being completed , including attachment of the relevant re-run result.
