What Industry are they in, and what are they looking for?
This is one of the most challenging parts.
If you are lucky, the person will say "I work in [insert industry], and I need to do [VOI need]". However, you may need to tease the information out of them.
Questions to ask:
- What state are you located in?
this will help you know which BDM to put them in contact with - What Industry is your business in? This way, I can discuss the right product for your needs.
This question can help you narrow down what they do. If they say something like "Hospitality", "A Pub", or "Nightlife", it's probably safe to talk to them about Venue Entry or Venue Entry OLGR.
If they say, "We run a business online", "Accountants", "Conveyancers", "Law Firm", "Recruitment", or any other industry that doesn't fit into the BDR or Venue Entry categories - It's best to assume they are looking for the Platform Solution.
What they might be looking for if they say:
- Remote verification checks
This indicates that they want to be able to run a VOI check on someone who is not at the same location as them. The Platform would be what they are looking for - KYC (know your customer), VOI (verification of identity) or 100-point identification check
This indicates that they want to be able to run a VOI check on their customers. The Platform would be what they are looking for - Manage Alcohol consumption or Takeaway alcohol.
This person would be looking for our BDR system. This is not a system we have readily available for the public, but we can put them in touch with a BDM to discuss their requirements further. - Having a list of people who have entered their venue and at what times
Venue Entry would be the system that would work for their needs - A system to check IDs at the point of entry
Venue Entry would be the system that would work for their needs
